Article One
- Daniels Night of the Long Knives
- Broadland Harnsers 3-1 Lowestoft B
- Well, the team didnt do very well last night, though losing 3-1 to the top team in the division at their patch isnt all bad I suppose. Warren, after analysis could and should have held on for a draw at least, so a bit gutted there really. Went down the Sicilian route, I was in a bit of a bind but nothing too bad and just sacced a piece for the attack and it didnt work. Well played Mr Wilding. On board 2 Graham was up against David Owen and found himself in an unfavourable position, looking slightly dogdy on the dark squares, David ekked out a good point for the home team. Would like to take this moment to say big thanks to Graham for making the effort to support the team by turning out tonight. Big shock on board 3, well I say big shock, but not really, as Daniel is showing all of us that he can take anyone on and beat them at the moment. Jo Badger is no push over, but she got steamrolled by the Jackson train!! The point won by Daniel tonight could make the difference between going up or not and we thank him. Jordan on board 4 again had a good attacking position, with the chance of winning a pawn and really putting the pressure on Paul Coxs defence but then went and threw it away with some really bad calculation, all a learning curve though and with this Jordan can still turn it around and hopefully produce the goods in the future.
