Leon Hines Wins 2011 Christmas Rapidplay

Back to normal. Leon has recaptured his title of Christmas Rapidplay Champion with another fine display on Wednesday evening. Leon played really well, beating all of his opponents par Mark Pooley, which was drawn.

Would like to thank Charles for organising the event and for Parkhill Hotel for providing the food. Most of all I would like to thank all the members that made the effort to turn up and support the event. Jordan had a fine tournament, beating both myself and Keith, he showed signs of marked improvement in his play and was rewarded with his fine victories. Would like to thank Bala for finding the time to "deliver" Karthik to the Hotel for the event, after a mix up on dates. Big thanks for Graham for providing the crackers, got a lovely bottle opener in mine.
